ANBERNIC RG G01

Excellent product — it meets expectations and even exceeds them. I really liked it, and as soon as I have money available, I will buy another one.

The controller has precise joysticks, and it has great rumble motors. The battery outlasts all the other controllers in my house. I'm not a fan of the D-pad. I would rather it be like the one on the RG 35xxPro, the RG G01's feels a little mushy to me and not as precise, but this is only from my time with a handful of games that used the D-pad. Speaking of the D-pad, the faceplate is removable, but it appears that the hole under my D-pad is too small for it to fit. The buttons are clicky and satisfying to use. The paddles on the back are ok for me, but for people with smaller hands or shorter fingers, like my mom, when she tried it. They might find them to be too small. So even with all the little things i still love this controller.

I bought the yellow version of the RG G01 and I'm very happy with it. It looks visually stunning. The colour really pops. It works well, feels good. I've created a YouTube video review of it. I highly recommend it as it is a reasonable price, feels great. Not sure how much I will use the heart rate monitor but having a screen makes it easy to flick though it's various functions

Pretty and easy to use

This is a really cool controller and it feels nice and has good quality parts. I will say that I wish the interface was easier to use or that it came with a more clear instruction manual on how to use it. Still haven't even seen my heart rate come up on it. Also, its nice that it comes with a set of longer analog sticks but I wish it came with a set of sticks that were between the length of the default sticks and the other longer sticks.

Also, if purchased from the Anbernic website, its pretty much always going to be 70 dollars due to the 30 dollar shipping fee which seemed pretty steep. I bought mine from the US warehouse but still had the 30 dollar shipping fee.

There is some great potential here.
The hardware is pretty Solid however there are a few little things that hold the Controller down from being almost perfect.
The Trigger switches, if you're not used to the Controller it's super easy to accidentally initiate the trigger switch, the Heart Rate Monitor is fine, but did this controller really need this? I would've rather had a cheaper Controller or RGB lights. And lastly, please open up the Firmware and allow people to modify the Software on the Controller, I don't care if it means losing my Warranty.

I love everything about this controller - the design (i have the black one), the clickyness of the buttons, the way macros are configured and so on.. but it took me around 4-5 hours to get used to it. It is so massively different in handling, as the magnetic sticks are CRAZY precise, that i ended up doing misinputs due to being used to controllers not being this accurate. After some days of playing it became second nature and other controllers now just feel dull.

Tl;dr: Best controller i had so far, but takes some getting used to

Nutze den Controller jeden Tag, er funktioniert wunderbar mit dem Steamdeck der Switch und meinem LG TV. Der Versand ging auch zügig und gut. Absolut empfehlenswert!

I found this to be a great controller. Using it on my iPhone and it works great. Love the feeling of the microswitches under the d-pad and face buttons.

The analogue sticks could feel smoother like on Switch 2 pro controller. Heart rate monitor not needed. Easier use of the on screen menu would be a nice improvement. I say all this in hopes that there is a newer version in the future. I really like the controller.

The controller itself is great. There're just a few things that could be better: the display should have an option to turn itself off while using the controller; the trigger depth switches are not in the best place as your fingers tend to mess with it while playing; and lastly, there should be a pc app for convenient configuration and update of the device!
Despite these points, it is a very good controller worth the purchase!

I bought this controller as I already had an Anbernic handheld and have had a great experience with that device and I'm glad I did. I've had it for a few weeks now and I've liked gaming with this very much. I'd certainly recommend it to others as it seems very well made, it works great and it looks really cool as a bonus.
