I got this controller just to use with my Nintendo switch. It feels really good in the hand and paired oh so very quickly. The only downside I've found to it is that it seems that there is just a little bit of input, delay or latency. So in games like super Smash Bros. It was kind of a bummer. I also have an 8-bitdo 2c pro Black myth wukong which works wonderfully and I mean I have no input delay with that but it is not near as comfortable as my anbernic. So yeah, pros are comfort, comfort, comfort and so easy to pair, but the little bit of input latency kind of turns me off. Oh, and the buttons feel just a little mushy compared to my 8-bit do. For the price I paid I'm definitely not mad but yeah there's a couple things I think they can improve on on this
It's truly a really cool controller. One of the best I used. No latency in wireless mode. Nice colors thanks to RGB Lighting Effect. Plus, the white one is really beautyfull. Honestly, I think I'll never buy something else than Anbernic anymore.
I bought this controller to mainly use with the switch. I was shocked to see how easily it wakes the switch from sleep. Lots of other (more expensive) controllers require you to get up and wake the switch manually or weirdly enough shake the controller (8 bit do). The rumble feels great and all of the buttons and sticks feel awesome. The fact that this controller is as cheap as it is is crazy to me. It's one of my favorite switch controllers that I own and it was by far the cheapest. These need to be in best buys, walmarts and targets. Thank you anbernic, this little controller is amazing.
A great, affordable controller. Specially noteworthy the gyro capabilities, it's great to play Nintendo Switch 👍🏻
Honestly, I love this controller it's very smooth, light weight, I definitely recommend
Great controller so far. Only issue is remembering how to program the macro buttons bu that a memory issue rather than a functional one lol
This controller shocked me how good it is for the price. It syncs right up to my rg353m. Only thing I don't like is it desyncs too quickly if you set it down to look at something. But even in the middle of a game it syncs back up no problem
Sin lag, rápida conexion con el receptor. Versatil.
I used it for a few days, using the dongle connected to the computer, it is very nice to use, quite accurate and comfortable to hold.
I have no complaints.
Fast even from China no delays or getting stuck at some hub en route.
Very good controller, I would have liked it to be compatible with Xbox but as I am doing it works well, it's quite good.
My favorite controller for Anbernic devices!
My 2 main controllers are the Xbox One for PC along the 8BitDo Pro2 for Switch and the Ambernic RG P01 sits in the middle of both of them when it comes ergonomics comfort.
It took me a bit longer to get used to the angle of the controler but once I was done fighting the muscle memory, it works surprisingly well.
The only draw back I have about it is I wish I could swap easily between devices (PC, Switch,...) easily without having to re-sync the controler everytime. If you use it only for a single device this will be a non issue but if you plan to use it between different devices, this will rapidly become an issue for you.
Compact, works well and I like the black colour. Recommend.
Very good control. It fits very well in the hands.
Ver happy with the Anbernic RG P01, works perfectly and is better than expected! Just waiting to see if Anbernic decides to launch a phoneclip for having an even better experience!!
So far the controller feels very good in my small hands. Only owned xbox controllers before and you notice the quality difference on the d-pad. The facebuttons look kinda cheap but feel fine after some time of getting used to it. The triggers movement is a bit short, but absolutely fine for my use cases. The HAL joysticks are a treat.
The front facing LEDs are way to bright and i wish they would turn off by themself or can be dimmed. Currently have a tape over it to dim it.
I have updated mine recently and the only problem i have found so far is that it resets its connection to another, which is not the dongle one. All the other settings remain the same.
Would recommend it for the cheap price.
The ANBERNIC RG P01 is a fantastic handheld gaming device that delivers impressive performance and value for its price. The build quality is solid and feels comfortable in hand, making extended gaming sessions enjoyable. The screen is vibrant, with sharp resolution and good brightness, offering a great visual experience for retro gaming. The device supports a wide range of emulators, making it a versatile choice for gaming enthusiasts who want to relive their favorite classic titles. The battery life is also noteworthy, lasting through long gaming sessions without the need for constant recharging. Overall, the ANBERNIC RG P01 is a great investment for retro gaming lovers, offering excellent features at an affordable price.
Used for games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, 50 UFO, Rocket League or Black Myth Wukong, and so far nothing wrong happens.
The lightweight od the controlle is a plus, vibration are the plus, ease of the connection is the plus.
Except of a bit harsh method of changing RGB (it does not save) I do not have anything to complain.
Will se ofcourse in next 200-300h of gameplay but as for now I can recommend it, thanks.
This thing is stellar. I originally only jumped on buying one because it was so cheap, about $30 with shipping. I figured I would use it as a dedicated controller for my Odin 2 when I played docked, but then I enjoyed it so much that I started using it for PC as well. Switching between Android and Xinput Bluetooth connection is super easy, mapping the back buttons is quick to learn, and my son is obsessed with the LEDs around the sticks (he’s two and he loves to pick Dada’s color before we play.)
I have no idea how they are able to sell these so cheap, but I am having a great time using it for everything from NES to Black Ops 6.
I saw this new PC controller was on sale for a price I could afford and decided to give it a shot. I dont remember what day I received it in November.
I like the box it came in. Had funny rings to protect the two Circle sticks. Nothing was out of place or odd. It works well my brain just needs to get used to how games want it to be used. My only issue at the moment is those two buttons on the back of the handle. I cant fully grip it like I want or i'll hit those buttons. When I accidentally do. The game I play makes them do some auto movements I never registered and I dont know how to turn it off on the controller even after looking at the instructions paper. Other than that, Ive had no other issues and I like the controller. Even if it is a tad small for my big arms.
Keep doing your best creating all your stuff. Be safe and well. 0=0/
I didn't receive the controller 26 days ago like your email said, but I've have it for about 15 days and they work fine. I bought all 3. Everyone loves them. To be honest and fair, I think that they are a bit lighter than I expected. For some people that's great, but for me it makes them feel cheaper than they are. They are really great. I just wish that they had more weight to them.
Use on my pc and steamdeck and other handheld pcs works perfect great battery and feels better than all my first party controllers
I'm a bit of a controller collector so when this particular model started making the rounds on YouTube, I was intrigued and bought one. Personally, I think it is a great controller for the price. Buttons, sticks and triggers all feel great and the plastic of the grip is comfortable in the had. It doesn't feel cheap. The d-pad isn't the best ever, but then what d-pad is these days? For $17.99, I highly recommend this controller, particularly if Anbernic starts selling them on Amazon, where shipping costs are greatly reduced. Shipping was almost as much as the controller, and that is really my only complaint. I use it for my Steam Deck and it does exactly what I need it to do. I'd say that it is almost on par with 8BitDo's offerings. Good purchase.
Hall effect sticks and triggers, programmable bottom paddles and auto fire, customizable rgb. Very similar to 8 bit do, but less snapback in sticks, I haven't noticed a dead zone like retro fighters, so they split the difference well. Wish it came in more colors, but currently my new favorite.
