Childhood in my pocket

Children of the late 90s playgrounds would tell legends of a mythical console capable of playing ALL games. NES, PS1, Genesis, NeoGeo. It wasn't real, of course, but the collective dream of millions.

And now, here it is. In a clamshell. A CLAMSHELL. All the satisfaction of hanging up a phone call in 2004! And with a comparable battery life, too! I only have to charge this thing once every week or so.

Only way this could score higher than 10/10 would be if it could run PS2/GameCube/Xbox games.

Terrific, Budget-Friendly, and Good Quality

All the Anbernic devices my wife and I have purchased have far exceeded our expectations, and the 34xxSP is no different. The device feels solid and well made. The form factor is very close to the GBA SP, just slightly thicker. It brings back tons of nostalgia to game on these. The stock OS works just fine, and the SD cards allow a user to easily swap to a different build if they want. The buttons all feel good and responsive. The Joysticks seemed like they would be awkwardly placed, but I have had no issue when using them. The screen quality is great, and it plays PS1 games seamlessly. I have tried a couple dreamcast titles and haven't seen any real issue with those either. The price can't be beat, and the quality feels great, seems just as rugged as the original GBA SP. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Great device that gets more gaming in!

I'm able to relive childhood by playing games I grew up with but being able to take them on the go. Been playing on my lunch break everyday and right before work. Showed family and spurred parents and brother to get the system too!

Amazing retro console

This is an upgrade to my old school Gameboy retropie emulator. Charges quick and easy, comes with a lot of games and is easy to get more of. If you want to play old games, get this beast!

Fantastic Starter Emulator with Perfect Portability

I had read great reviews of this product but I assumed after I received it that I'd need to download emulators, track down ROMS and generally fiddle with the device and my computer in order to play any games. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised when I learned this thing is ready to go out of the box with hundreds and hundreds of games and pre-loaded emulators. I have been successful and loading a few roms onto it without any trouble and everything I've grabbed of Vimm's Lair has played with the included emulators. Couldn't be easier. Just make sure you have an (inexpensive) micro SD card reader for your PC, although it does come preloaded with a simple app that lets you search for ROMs and download 'em onto the device. I have recommended this to all of my friends. Thanks for making this so affordable and have better physical quality than Game Boy SP.
