The best Handheld i ever had!
Bought it for me, took too long to get here so I ordered another one from Amazon. Not anbernics fault. Thing was easy to use and felt great out of the box. I gave it to my mother so she could play the classics she had when she was younger and she hasn't put it down. It fits great in the hands, the buttons sound and feel amazing, and the hinge is very sturdy. I also now have the RG 40xxV and it's just as amazing. It's an everyday device. Both fit inside a pocket or lunch box and they last the whole day. My only complaint is that the devices don't like to run N64 games but it's not a problem. I plan on getting another device that can. Don't slip on this one or really any device anbernic has. They can literally let you relive a great piece of your childhood.
I love this model the most out of all the handhelds I've tried but I really hate the placement of the small button on the right side that just shuts off your game. I've had a small handful of times where I've lost hours of progress / saves by accidently touching that button.
I got a pair of these (in green and grey), running MuOS for me and my wife and they are excellent! I have had friends asking about it and have recommended the xx line pretty much without reservation. The only issue (which I would love to see addressed in future revisions) would be the lack of fast charge support, as regular usb c charging is becoming obsolete and the lack of support kind of defeats the purpose of a universal plug. Other than that, a perfect product in my opinion.
... buy this! By far the best Anbernic device! The best is not the most performant device existing, but the one you are actually playing with regularly. Nothing beats the SP in simplicity und usability.
