Excellent modernization of the old school classic

It feels solid in the hands despite being made of a plastic material. I like how similar all the buttons feel to the GBA, and the software it comes with has all the features you would want it to have. Either way, I am running Knulli on it as I wanted to customize the overall layout of the UI to something less confusing. I later realized that some games you may want to run with Retroarch for either mods or retro achievements to function, which answers why there are two ways you can launch games from the stock OS UI.

Great GBA device

Had an issue at first where the device couldn't power on, but after a quick battery reseating it's been fine. Plays GBA games perfectly and battery life has been great with that use case. The additional RL triggers placed a bit farther back have been nice. Far more comfortable to use.
