NEW ANBERNIC RG28XX

Wanted a way to play the OG pokemon games and get a similar experience to what it would've been like back in the 90's. This is all that and more. Very happy with it.

This thing is amazing! The build quality is excellent and I’ve been playing it a ton since I got it and really enjoying my playtime on it. From Smash bros to Mario kart ds or katamari or any other classic console, they all play really great for just about most games (especially 2D consoles)! The buttons are elevated really nicely so they don’t feel too small at all for my normal sized male hands, and the D pad rolls sooo nicely for fighting and racing games. The corner triggers are actually in a good spot so that you can stretch your index fingers and click it near the last bend of your finger while resting it on your ring and pinky fingers, might take a sec to get used to. The screen is incredibly dense and looks and feels bright, and the battery lasts a good while, even after playing for 2 hours, sometimes I forget to charge it. The purple in white color I got looks super cool, reminds me of vaporwave. The stock OS was also just fine and ran things really optimized through RA. All and all worth every penny, even if you are just thinking of trying it or want to mess around with the software! Super impressed with Anbernic, not to mention my order from China to NYC was just SIX days (of course this will vary depending when you order and to where). Will be buying again as gifts! I bought this device for my son for Christmas I started it up to make sure everything was good and ready I've had problems with other emulation companies in the past but third anbernic device in and my children have never been disappointed this rg 28 brings me back to my child hood and after an evening of emo crying I decided to keep this for myself and bought my son another one thank you anbernic for bringing me back to the past of which I was robbed ❤️

Came with more than I even needed from it! It runs N64 and PS1 and Dreamcast, but its controls don’t suit those games at all and the screen is way too small. Anything GBA, Sega Genesis, and up is gonna be an hour of holding it right up to your face and squinting. BUT, for GB, GBC, and Gamegear? I’m blown away. Everything plays so nicely, and looks amazing. It’s exactly what I needed! If I had bought a larger model I could enjoy the full library these handhelds have to offer, but I chose the smallest one and so only the smallest games are enjoyable. Performance-wise, though, I’m more than impressed! It can definitely handle them if it has to. I took my Anbernic 28xx on a two-hour bus trip with me and the battery had plenty more in it when I got home again. I also found that for action titles like Zelda and Kirby, I actually prefer the softer buttons this system has! They’re friendlier to button-mash and have a very nostalgic feel. Personally, I recommend the one themed after the original GameBoy - it feels like a backlit micro version that was never released before.

This thing is perfect for me. Fits right into your pocket so I won't drain my cell phone battery. I'm impressed with the performance of this system on some of the high end gaming consoles. I can play mortal Kombat, Street fighter, sports games among others. I'm well please with this console and consider getting another one.
