ANBERNIC RG353PS

I had ordered the RG353PS and the first time I opened the package I was awestruck with the build quality, I have an RG 280v (refer pics for size comparison)as well. The 353ps is a step up from that in every terms the a,b,x,y buttons feel more tactile and not mushy at all while, the control sticks are responsive with no dead zones ,shoulder buttons are not the clicky type but are hinged does not register accidental presses easily , the screen is a beauty to play games in using the 4:3 resolution and the colours are crisp and vivid . I was worried about there being screen light bleed in the transparent version but surprisingly it did not have any such issues!. The battery gives a decent play time of around 5 hours per charge (less if you play higher end console emulators). The improvement points if any could be the battery life and processor, but then again the portability would take a hit if a bigger battery is included. I recommend this device wholly.

Swapped out the cards it came with and installed ArkOS, and the thing is excellent. Build quality feels good, every button is very responsive, a lot of customization available. It technically can play Gamecube but the frames are so choppy I wouldn't bother. The limited amount of time I spent playing PSP stuff seemed to work just fine, and everything PS1 and before is near flawless. Just be sure to get a PS1 BIOS file to fix 99.9% of potential issues.

So happy with this console! Easy access to my childhood and teen years games. And I must say, I just love the looks of RG353PS in purple. Shipment to Scandinavia was fast, about a week and it was easy to starruse with a separate SD-card after one youtube video. Only problem is, why one star is taken, is that it sometimes forgets the another sd-card with games in. Shutting down the device, in-and-out the sd-card and power back on has been settling the problem, so minor annoyance.
As mrs. Turner would say, simply the best!

Great device. I have loaded over 16000 roms and works awesome. Definitely worth the purchase, Sound could be a bit louder but all good.

So spicy and easy to use.

It’s a great system for the price, feels comfy in my big hands. Using jelOS in place of shipped OS and it’s working great.

Love the shape and transparent color. I would recommend it for people who want something other than android and something that can play NDS and PSP, but not care about 3DS or PS2.

Fantastic little device, reminds me of the SNES controller. I put ArkOS on it and it runs great. Portable and fun

Runs everything up to Dreamcast effortlessly (PS non android model) The only benefit you'll get is playing android games, no retro console needs any more extra ram than the PS has anyways. Everything is great except the buttons could be placed a bit to the left and larger.

Very comfortable for long use - better than the RG351p I had before.
I upgraded to the JELOS firmware which is highly recommended.

I love those Retrogaming consoles from Anbernic.
Nice shape and efficient.
I'd really like a machine that runs N3DS or even N.Switch
Waiting for it! Will be my next machine.

It is a good choice if you are looking for a retro console that is good looking, simple, portable and powerful enough to play n64, ds and even psp or ps1 classic games

Fantastic device that is extremely comfortable to use for a lengthy periods of time. The device feels well made and has a lot customization that is incredibly useful

I had been warned against getting the SD card that is included due to the quality of it but so far I have had no issues with saving the games or of the quality of the games. I plan to eventually get some branded SD games to install arkos and the games on but for now this device works great straight out of the box

Pretty good for the money. I just wish it also supported ps2 games

This thing is awesome for the price. Been enjoying diving into all the old games I used to play. I definitely recommend if you love old school games on the go

The Anbernic rg353PS console arrived at home relatively quickly. The small one fits well in the hand and games run very well. Overall, I have a good impression of the device and the drain I purchased.

I've been playing on this little guy for a couple weeks now. It's been a great machine. Plays everything I've put on it with ease.

I'm satisfied with this device and gave it to my niece to play good retro platforming N64 games and she loves it.

First Anbernic product and I'm very surprised. Great product for this price ! Very well assembled. Really comfortable to hold and nice gameplay. I love the shape and gray color (like first gameboy generation). I recommend a lot this model...

Out of all the retro handhelds I have tried the RG353PS is the best one. Really comfortable to hold and play for hours. The Controls are great and the unit has the power for anything retro you want to do with it. The horizontal form factor is the way to go and the RG353PS is just the right size between screen size, comfortable controls, and portability. Highly recommend as the go to retro handheld!

very happy with my purchase! plays everything up to 5th generation pretty much flawlessly, and even plays some psp and dreamcast games great. of course we've all emulated games before, but the level of polish in the UI and hardware really make this a special experience. it's especially slick if you customize the UI or scrape the video metadata to appear on the menus. i know what my friends and family will be getting for xmas this year. my only criticism is the d-pad is a little flaky, but unless you are playing hardcore fighting games or something it's probably fine for you.

I wish there were better OS/Firmware available other than ArkOS and JelOS. Love the feeling in the hands and it's really fun to play but I'm certain my old eyes are giving me trouble reading the fine print.

Only grip is the very limited options of good OSes. Not sure why it can't run Android either.

It deliver what it promises in a very good pricing in my opinion. A lots of guide out there to get your started easily. Finally I can "test" those games in my younger years I didn't get the chance to try.

Love love love my 353PS ..at the price for it and all the retro games from when I was a kid it was well worth it and you can add more games as you see fit ..well made device and easy to use ..Well done Anbernic 👍👍

I've bought the 353p 4 times. 3 for my kids and when i seen what the device was capable of I bought one for myself. This 5th one I bought for my friend for his birthday. He digs it. If you like retro gaming this thing does it all from nes up to dreamcast.
