ANBERNIC RG353M

With a solid metal build and ekselent form factor this is a very nice premium feeling device. The well known rk3566 chip has tons of custom software options, and you can easily set it up just as you want it. There are also lots of accessories and extras to buy or 3d print that already exists for it.

This is my first anbernic and I am greatly impressed. I love it and it plays most of my vast library of roms I added. Doesn't do well with N64 games but that's ok. I will probably get the rg477m after it's been out for awhile. I am pleased at what this little thing can do. Hard to play my 3DS now lol.

Hi. Some times ago i bought the 351P and i would have been fully satisfied if it had wifi and hdmi output. For this reason i have bought the model 353M and i would be fully satisfied if it weren't for the fact that the HDMI output MUST be connected before turning on the console or it cannot be used afterwards. For the rest it is an excellent device and the aluminium body gives a nice sensation to the touch and a sense of robustness. The volume keys near the D-pad can be accidentally pressed:i prefer the volume-wheel of the model 351.i haven't tested the Android mode because it doesn't interest me. EXCELLENT PRODUCT:I LOVE IT!

This is something like the fourth or fifth retro handheld console I've bought-- I've owned the RG351P, Miyoo Mini and Miyoo Mini Plus, and the RG35XX previously. While they all fill different needs, the RG353M is by far my favorite and is the one I use most. In fact, my other devices were just sitting around so I've gifted all but this and the MMv2 to friends and family.

The RG353M plays all of the retro systems that I *actually* care about (through N64, albeit this one with some tweaking), has a nice display, and looks gorgeous. Sure, the added power of the newer systems sounds nice-- but if I'm being totally honest, I have no nostalgia for the GameCube and PS2, so this is actually perfect for me. I've always heard good things about Anbernic's metal shell, but I thought the plastic ones were perfectly fine-- and they are. But this metal shell in blue has become my absolute favorite.

I know this is a feature of the other RG353 devices (except VS and PS), but being able to dual boot Linux and Android is great. I started on a Linux custom firmware since it's much easier to set up and start playing, but recently switched to Android. This side requires more setup and I'd say it isn't super beginner-friendly to set up and adjust the settings. That being said, there are a LOT of guides out there and if you enjoy this part of the process, the added customizability is great.

If a small form factor/pocketability and quality feeling are important to you like they are for me, this is an amazing little device. Highly, highly recommend it.

I've never owned a retro handheld before, by any company. I gotta say this aluminum body feels NICE! Almost like holding an Apple product! Ha! Took a little under two weeks from day of purchase for me to receive it. The built-in Linux OS is super easy and simple to navigate and find what you're looking for. At first it might be a pain having to scroll forever to find your games, but once you add them all to your favorite list it's so much faster to find! I haven't messed with the Android OS side because I just don't have a reason to! The triggers are nice and clicky, the buttons and d-pad have a soft, yet firm feel when you press them. The analog sticks are smooth as butter and click nicely. Overall, SUPER impressed and satisfied!! Excellent product!! 5 Stars!!!

Every thing good , a lot game in micro sd card , but i can not use android i can not touch creen on android but linux very good for play game

I want everyone to know order the device direct from website its safe, easy, and their customer service was great! I was devastated accidentally putting the wrong address code but they recognized it almost immediately sent me and email for correction and I got my RG353m in two weeks on time and couldn't be happier with the build and functionality of this device! Initially, I absolutely was worried on how to order or if it was gonna really be this awesome handheld (reddit just scared me lol) but the youtube videos and everything really pushed me to get it and I'm glad I did! (Also the support I've gotten from amazing people on reddit has made this whole experience better now owning the device )

This handheld is beautiful, well built feels.teally good in the hands. As a collector Annernic is 💯 the leader in handhelds right now. Definitely worth the purchase you won't be disappointed if you are familiar with emulation devices.

I recently got into retro handhelds, but watched many reviews on the many different devices. I settled on the RG353M after watching multiple positive reviews. I can't be happier - from the metal build quality, to the excellent buttons, great screen! This thing rocks!! Won't be my last Anbernic device!

The console is made of excellent materials, the quality of the buttons is good, good touch and operation, like the crosshead, the stick are the best, even better than many consoles of big brands. The battery has enough, depending on the configuration and use that is given. Negative aspect the SD for me is not worth it since many games are in Japanese, misnamed and then it is not possible to search for the game information. The OS needs to be polished a bit but I liked it, the vertical games and the use of the function button are a great detail.

Connect it to the TV and a bluetooth arcade controller, everything easy is like having your own arcade at home. In summary is this product worth it? My opinion is that you can buy it with your eyes closed. Shipping was fast 6 days

I have been looking for a way to play all my old favorite games from when I was a kid and this is it! Couldn’t be happier with this handheld. There is a learning curve if you are new to this like I am but there is enough videos online to get you through the set up. I definitely recommend this product!

Great product love all the games and portability of it.

This is the best 3,5 inch handheld ever made. The build quality is superb. It is light, small and yet big enough for playing all games up to Nintendo DS and Dreamcast. Anbernic makes the best handhelds in the world!

I bought the RG 353M as an upgrade to my previous RG 351M, and it does not disappoint. Build quality is excellent, the joysticks are a big improvement, and the included Android installation is better than Linux for web browsing and music. The touch screen, speakers, better shoulder buttons, and MUCH faster processor make this a worthwhile upgrade from the RG 351M.

Wi-Fi is a bit slow, but since it runs Android you can plug in USB-C adapters for ethernet, controllers, keyboards, and storage which all work flawlessly. Emulation for systems like Dreamcast and N64 is faster under Android, so I’d recommend using it instead of Linux.

The purple color is more subdued than the pictures make it look, which I prefer. Overall, a great console for the price!

Big fan of anbernic devices and liked the look and sound of the rg353m. So glad I purchased it. Didn't take long to arrive and was well packaged. I opted for the 16GB blue colour. It looks really nice and feels perfect in the hands. I love the layout of the buttons, sticks and d pad. It's great it comes with android too so you have another option. The 16GB had both the firmware and a few games pre installed so was ready to go out of the box which was a bonus. After doing a lot of testing on the device with most of the emulators I can happily say I'm pretty impressed. By the way this is my own opinion and I'm not being paid or wasn't sent the product for review. I just think it's perfect for me. I've got loads of games for the GB, GB colour,Advance, nes, super nes, N64,master system, mega drive, mega CD/32,ps1,psp,dreamcast, saturn and a few more and I'm well pleased with the results, results you get with a bit of tinkering with settings for each game or console. Beautiful. Thanks anbernic.

Roms were easy to obtain, the community for these devices are abundant. I flashed a new 256gb card with the latest anbernic firmware and it runs smooth. YouTube was very helpful in getting the most out of your device. I'm looking forward to what ever comes out next November. My wife took this one off my hands after playing donkey Kong country.
