I am impressed. Unit came with a fair amount of games, was already programmed... All I had to do was add my Roms and it worked perfectly. Took me a bit to modify the screen to my liking and connect a Bluetooth controller but the system performed perfectly. Some really basic glitches on motion playback scenes when playing majoras mask.. otherwise very good. Very surprised by battery life, and standby. Hold power button to hard reboot, tap it to put to sleep. If I did it again, I would have spent more money .. would have looked for one with 16/9 screen rather than square.. when I used to mini HDMI to the tv and the wireless controller.. the video was quite impressive. I like this thing so much, it is now my go-to for gift ideas for any younger kids in the family!!

It's a no brainer at this price. Lovely controls. Great screen. Order some additional cards to play with different OS, and keep your games on the second larger card so you can swap at will. Note that you should limit chargers to 1.5A max current, no super fast high current chargers.

This thing had my parents and uncles and even me shocked. I get to play all the classics, as well as it’s a quality product. Won’t crap out on you. Solid solid solid.

The RG cube XX is by far my favourite handheld gaming device, with a good battery life, a wonderful screen, and very comfortable controls.

Gaming performance is also not bad at all, allowing you to comfortably play games from devices including the PS1, some N64, and some PSP.

However, the default firmware is lacking in the UI department. For example, you need to go into the settings menu any time you want to do game streaming, and it's just a general pain to navigate on the device.

For the price that it's at, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality handheld. However, to get the most out of it, being a bit tech savvy will certainly help.
