Bought the RG406v on a bit of a whim not 100% certain on the quality or what was to be expected on the 256gb sim card off of the Anbernic site. I can say for certain this thing doesn't disappoint! Runs everything on the device smoothly has a TON of retro acarde games(i will admit that i do wish it had come with a few more gamecube games or ps2 but those also use alot more space so it is a good trade off. The build quaility is top notch, excluding the sim card definitely replace it with a quality one of your own. But this thing rocks for the average gamer who wants a device that can handle most of your childhood games up to demanding ps2 titles. Packaging was top notch aswell would 100% recommend anyone on the fence to do their homework find out which device from Anbernic suits your needs then buy it
It exceeds expectations and im so happy i discovered it and be an owner. For anyone even considering purchasing, go ahead, you won’t be disappointed.
This is a lovely little device, with a form factor rather like a fat Game Boy.
Build quality is great and it's comfortable to hold for long periods.
Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a vertical handheld.
I previously had a RG35xx that I lost, and this is a pretty marvelous upgrade. The OS, sticks, and built in browser are all great upgrades.
Very happy with my purchase, it will be great to have on long trips.
Wonderful device. Easy to use and to set up with your own games and software. Plays games rather silent even in performance mode.
Ergonomics are good, but for big hands like mine a little bit cramped. I dig the vertical gameboy style, so I got used to this form factor. For everyone else there is the horizontal version.
All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase.
