Anbernic RG35XXSP

I bought one for myself and bought one for my husband off Amazon. The price here was better. Currently we play GBC Pokemon games with each other and will be moving on the GBA once we beat our games. I did change to the muOS as it is much easier to trade on the GBC with that operating system. I enjoy all the features that come on these devices. The screen is so good goes GBC and GBA games. No longer have to sit under a light or buy an attachment to see your game. I have had very few freeze ups and lags. I will say YouTube helped a lot setting up some of those new technology feature some of these handhelds have that I've never used before. I've learned a lot and really enjoy my SP.

Great quality

I bought this as a birthday gift for my brother. He has been playing pokemon on it ever since. I've played it for a total of 5 hours so far, the buttons are clicky and responsive, the finish feels expensive and it doesn't make me doubt my purchase.

really good for GTA and GBA!

Great product! Needs more Sonic, Mario, and Pokemon. This was my first emulation device ever and I wanted to use it to replace a phone...It works wonderfully.

Budget GOAT

This is the best handheld you can get for the price imo. The form factor is top notch with its lovely size and screen. Clamshells tend to outlast their counterparts which is why I prefer them. Love that it comes with a screen protector and feels very durable. If you mostly play psx and gba you can’t go wrong. This is my 4th Anbernic Device, also my favorite (no none of them broke lol). The transparent red just looks SOOO good.

Anbernic 35xxSP has awoken something in me

Full disclosure, this is my first handheld device I've had since 2010, so a lot has changed with what is available. I've dabbled in retro gaming and emulators for years, but this device has made it so much easier and more accessible to play older games on the go. I think when it comes to GBA and NDS games specifically, there's something special about playing them on this handheld. The controls are tight and intuitive, and the options for customization of my gaming library make this system great for the price. I'd happily buy this again. I'm looking to give this to my son when I am officially done with it. Maybe by then there will be a device at this price point that plays Gamecube and Wii, but until then, this is just such an amazing piece of tech.
