Bought for a friend. Device was good just painful to set up in the beginning.

I tried replacing the microSD card with a SanDisk one because ChatGPT mentioned a lot of the stock generic microSD cards fail over time. I was trying to just drop one 256 GB to replace. Because I had to email customer service to get the stock OS image, I started with Rocknix first. I had issues expanding the partition overwriting portions unseen from Windows then Windows unable to see or write to the partition for games unless I used a paid program. I had issues expanding the partition with the stock OS once I got it. The easiest thing was using a spare 64 GB microSD card I had. I just didn't think it'd be that hard to replace with a single 256 GB microSD card instead of then needing two.

I bought this specific unit because I wanted my 6 yr old to start the world of video games with a classic like Pokemon for the Gameboy Advance and she loves it! Really recommend.

The screen on this thing is so bright and detailed and transferring new games is really easy to do. Im planning on getting a second one for trading.

It arrived within a week but when I turned it on would not boot up so I figured that it was a dead battery. After charging for 5 hours with a 5v 2amp charger, it would still not boot up. I took it to my son's house because he also has the same unit and figured maybe put his sd card into mine to see if it is a bad sd card and he noticed right away that the card shipped to me with the sd card inserted on the right side (power button side) slot, he swapped it to the left slot and turned it on and surprisingly it turned right on and I was so happy. I love playing this RG34xxSP even with my huge hands it is very comfortable. Most of the time I play my favorite RG406V with it's huge easy to see awesome screen and perfect hand size and my favorite of the 9 different systems I own BUT this small easy to carry around clam shell unit definetly does the trick for traveling or hanging out at different places. It's the best small clam shell unit of the 4 different units that I own starting with my V90 Pow Kitty, & 3 Flips. This and my 406V are the best of 2 worlds and works perfectly togeather for me. The OS is excellent also in the RG34xxSP and incredible screen clarity and bright colors. It even plays Grand Theft Auto very smoothly and fast with no hickups after a few setting adjustments. I am very happy that I bought this.

A friend recommended this system as a way to conveniently play loads of games, and they were absolutely right. The price is great, the screen is fantastic, the controls are nice. Loading games is simple. Best of all is the classic design, which looks super nice in the matte black. Great product for an amazing price.
