This is the best handheld you can get for the price imo. The form factor is top notch with its lovely size and screen. Clamshells tend to outlast their counterparts which is why I prefer them. Love that it comes with a screen protector and feels very durable. If you mostly play psx and gba you can’t go wrong. This is my 4th Anbernic Device, also my favorite (no none of them broke lol). The transparent red just looks SOOO good.

Full disclosure, this is my first handheld device I've had since 2010, so a lot has changed with what is available. I've dabbled in retro gaming and emulators for years, but this device has made it so much easier and more accessible to play older games on the go. I think when it comes to GBA and NDS games specifically, there's something special about playing them on this handheld. The controls are tight and intuitive, and the options for customization of my gaming library make this system great for the price. I'd happily buy this again. I'm looking to give this to my son when I am officially done with it. Maybe by then there will be a device at this price point that plays Gamecube and Wii, but until then, this is just such an amazing piece of tech.

Absolutely love this device. Carry it with me everywhere. Would highly recommend. Im fact I loved it so much i bought a secoumd one to give away to a buddy of mine at work.

It's not perfect but it's pretty damn close. Perfect for GBA and earlier roms.

Love the device's form factor. The plastic is very premium feeling and the buttons have been improved to be less clicky. The 2025 variant I purchases now has USB C for charging which is great! The hinge has been quite sturdy so far and have not faced the cracking problems after 4 months of use, even on a translucent green model which are more notorious for it. Overall, would highly recommend if you what a portable, GBA friendly device. I use it nearly every day on my train ride to work!
