If the rg34xxsp had a touchscreen, android and more ram it would be my perfect device! It's so close!!! One day hopefully... Love the form factor.

Exceeded all my expectations

I love this device. I have used it for a few weeks now and have no run into any issues. Its wonderful. I cannot believe I can play DS games on this thing!

It arrived within a week but when I turned it on would not boot up so I figured that it was a dead battery. After charging for 5 hours with a 5v 2amp charger, it would still not boot up. I took it to my son's house because he also has the same unit and figured maybe put his sd card into mine to see if it is a bad sd card and he noticed right away that the card shipped to me with the sd card inserted on the right side (power button side) slot, he swapped it to the left slot and turned it on and surprisingly it turned right on and I was so happy. I love playing this RG34xxSP even with my huge hands it is very comfortable. Most of the time I play my favorite RG406V with it's huge easy to see awesome screen and perfect hand size and my favorite of the 9 different systems I own BUT this small easy to carry around clam shell unit definetly does the trick for traveling or hanging out at different places. It's the best small clam shell unit of the 4 different units that I own starting with my V90 Pow Kitty, & 3 Flips. This and my 406V are the best of 2 worlds and works perfectly togeather for me. The OS is excellent also in the RG34xxSP and incredible screen clarity and bright colors. It even plays Grand Theft Auto very smoothly and fast with no hickups after a few setting adjustments. I am very happy that I bought this.

The RG34XXSP is with 2gb ram makes this my Nintendo Switch 2. This gba sp with 2gb ram is everything I ever wanted. To Anbernic the company, I Love You, & you releasing this 34xxsp was you saying You Love Me too! Everything is harmonious & the good times are now here. I massively Thank You Anbernic. The RG34xxsp is meant for me! 😁☀️

I could not be more happy with the RGXX34SP! For me personally it is my dream console, the form factor, size, colors, controls and power are perfect for me! I heavily recommend this console!
The only two improvements that could be made is a bigger screen (there is enough room for that anbernic!) and the joysticks quality.

That's about it really. It's perfect. I wanted a Gameboy advanced and this is exactly that.

It's light years better than the first version. The buttons and pad are perfect and the screen is bright and beautiful.

This little device is excellent. For the price you really can’t go wrong. My only gripe is that the analog sticks seem cardinally locked but that’s not a deal breaker.

Great little emulator. Beautiful screen and you can tell it’s a great quality by the images and colors the screen displays. Controls feel great as well. I don’t have really anything bad to say about this device. It’s the best console for gameboy SP emulation

Ultimate GBA. Exactly what I needed.

Awesome little pocketable clam shell retro gaming devise that places flawlessly thru PS1 and pretty well to GC. I really love the new color. This once is a little smaller than the 35 variant and perfectly pocketable. Of course it's down fall is its not ergonomically well suited for long gaming sessions but you can throw it in your pocket and game whenever you are Jonesing for a Mario fix

I love this thing and the way it folds up and fits in my pocket. The main reason I got it was because of the pocket size. I've mostly been playing GBA games but I did load up a ps1 game for a few minutes and it seemed like it was working fine. I've been taking it everywhere with me. I'm also a bit of a Linux nerd so the fact that this thing has a Linux OS at its core makes me smile.

Solidly built, well designed, and appropriately powerful handheld. Looks good, feels good, and plays well.

Worth the money, it does everything I expected it to do. It's currently my favorite handheld I own.

Love this thing. Got all the bases covered for handheld retro gaming. GBA games look and play like a dream on it. Great colours and brightness with the quality IPS screen. The cropped screen for other aspect ratio consoles is totally fine and still looks great. You're not playing Crysis on this thing anyways so just relax and enjoy. It's plenty detailed enough with the amount of pixels for its size. You can always dock it to a tv with the mini hdmi port on it anyways if you need to. The dual sticks add some more playability to a lot of games and can work for extra control options. Fantastic for on the go gaming. The level of nostalgia dopamine you will get on a regular basis will be priceless.

Got the RGDS and decided i wanted something smaller. This was great for all the GBA RPGs I am playing. With the system it runs I also added my music and Ebooks to the second SD card. Too bad it doesnt run bluetooth but a Bluetooth dongle works great

A delightful and stylish little device that runs like a charm. It feels quite well built, is very intuitive to use, and comes preloaded with an impressive variety of games across numerous retro systems. Shipping was quick too! Overall a fantastic experience.

It took couple days longet to arrive, but it was worth the wait. So far it has worked well, runs PS1 games smoothly and its just perfect for GBA

Perfect to play ps1 and psp games while you are in bed. I highly recommend to install knulli operation system to get things does easily and it has also the best support for port master. But this little thing shine mostly in GBA games, but ofc you can always activate 3:2 support for ps1 and psp titles as well.

But I want for a newer version of this in future is to have a 3gb ram, stronger CPU, runs on Linux, with 4:3 aspect ratio and L2 and R2 to be under L1 and R1. The size should be something like RG DS but a bit smaller. I would gladly pay 100 bucks for that.

Has to download a whole new operating system just to be able to us the device because the ambernic one wouldn’t connect to the internet Bluetooth couldn’t play any games till I turned it on and sometimes that wouldn’t even work it would take hours. and no, I didn’t contact customer service because when I ordered it it took four weeks for it to get here when the shipping location was only five hours away from me in a different state so no I didn’t wanna wait again but other than that, it’s a good system. Just know if it don’t work you can download a different operating system to use it.

Good little emulation device. Easy to install custom games. Screen is accurate size to an OG SP.

Mine had a small manufacturing defect. A white area along the bottom of the screen, about 3 or 4 pixels worth of tint. Not worth sending back considering the 3 week ship time.

It will meet my needs well.

My only complaint is with the predownloaded games I was kinda sad when I saw there was no Pokémon or Mario on there other than that it’s fantastic.
