ANBERNIC RG 34XX

I don't normally write reviews but here goes, I know there's a ton of retro handhelds on the market through anbernic and many other vendors. No matter what any "popular" YouTube personalities say this is an amazing machine. I started off when I was a kid with a gbc with Pokémon Red but when the glacier blue gba came out my mother bought one for all three of us kids for Christmas. I loved that little gba like it was a member of the family. Pokémon Crytsal, Emerald, Fire Red, Zelda Minish Cap and so so many more amazing memories of playing with my little brother and sister, showing my Pokémon to my grandma and grandpa and playing in the car driving to vacations. To me it's not just a game system that can play all my absolutely favorite games, it's a piece of my childhood that is tangible, that I can hold, that I can remember and cherish. Thank you Anbernic for making this especially in Glacier. You've made this Veteran very very happy.

My device is the same color as my childhood GBA and sometimes I forget that I'm playing something from 2024 rather than 2001. They nailed it with this one. Only extra I could ask for is an add on hand grip because my hands have gotten bigger in 20+ years.

This is my sixth Anbernic - they always get better.
Now if you could just make me a vertical 4" cube ...

So far I have used it for nes, snes, atari, gba, and gbc and it works great. So far I have only needed the built in emulators it ships with. D pad is less than perfect but so was real gba I suppose. Anyway works and looks great

Stock OS was fine but unaesthetic. Plays well, emulates well. Shell is nice, doesnt feel cheap. Buttons are a bit awkward with how close they are together but its not a real negative. Sdcard is fine. Gba games look great on this screen. Can run soul calibur broken destiny without issue.
