A More Refined Experience! RG 477M / RG 477V Receive a Core System Upgrade

The all-new ANBERNIC ecosystem—including RG Home, RG Control Center, and RG Button Mapping—has officially arrived on the RG477M! Version V1.32 is now rolling out to your devices via OTA (Over-the-Air) update. The RG477V is also receiving another update (Version V1.39) to fix known bugs and improve the overall user experience. We hope this update brings you an even better gaming experience!

⚙️ RG 477M (Firmware Version: V1.32): Update Logs

1. New Game Frontend (RG Home): Can be launched directly from the desktop, seamlessly blending the Android desktop launcher with a gaming frontend. It features an intuitive dual-wheel UI layout and fully supports both touch controls and physical button navigation.
2. All-in-One Control Center (RG Control Center): Adds the Control Center module toggle to the drop-down status bar (drag it into your active quick settings area from "Edit Tiles" to use). Call it out anytime to instantly monitor performance and adjust handheld status.
3. Touchscreen Button Mapping: Adds an upgraded button mapping tool, accessible via the Control Center sidebar. It supports saving multiple custom configuration profiles for quick, seamless switching in touch-only games.
4. Color Palette Feature in Settings: Adds color palette support to system settings, allowing users to manually adjust the screen color temperature for a more comfortable viewing preference.
5. Fixed known bugs.

🛠️ RG 477V (Firmware Version: V1.39): Update Logs

1. Bug Fixes: Resolved issues where toggling joystick LED lights caused joystick unresponsiveness, switching controller modes (Xbox / NS) or fan speeds via the drop-down bar caused system UI crashes, and fixed trigger button unresponsiveness.
2. Streamlined System Menus: Removed the standalone "Handheld Settings" interface and migrated all options to the RG Control Center for unified management.
3. Pegasus Compatibility & Art Recognition: Natively supports directly reading Pegasus frontend ROMs packs. Optimized the box art scanning priority path (gamelist / metadata.pegasus.txt configurations -> matching PNG/JPG images inside images, media, or img folders -> matching image files within the same directory).
4. AI Model Upgrade: Updated the built-in AI model to support online search, enabling real-time Q&A for current events.
