It is the best RG handheld so far, now make one that can take GBA cartridges like the Revo K101+

At first I was going to just play my old GBA titles on this, but after loading up my other consoles I realized that this little beast could run Dream Cast titles at a smooth 40fps! I can’t wait for the eventual pro model with better heat management just so that I can run PS2 games. Haha Another job well done, Anbernic!

I’ve had a number of these types of retro handhelds and this one has quickly become my favorite. My first ever handheld game system was a GBA SP, so the fact that this one is modeled after that system gives me a comfort that hard to explain. The novelty cannot be understated. I tend to use custom operating systems on retro handhelds but for this one I’ve actually kept the stock OS because it’s got so many amazing features like quick shut down, bezels, auto joystick mapping, and more. I even use some of the common but lesser used features like the video player. The charm of watching a movie on a system that looks like a GBA SP is such a thrill. I’ve started bringing this thing everywhere I go now. I would recommend this console to anyone who grew up with a GBA SP, especially a silver one, because you will feel right at home.

Obviously the nostalgic appeal here is strong but that doesn't mean you don't have a very strong product here. Great build quality, great shaders and overlays preloaded, practical OS (even though it's ugly). Highly recommend this device.

Is there's something that other retro handhelds never gets right to me it's the fact that their form factor will never feel right. The RG35XXSP changed the game entirely. It looks like an SP, it feels like an SP, and it plays like one. Obviously there's more than just GBA this can play. I have been having an absolute blast with it.

As tiny as it is this little device is it performs excellent for what it offers. Very portable, good screen and runs most games installed on it flawless. The button and dpad are just a hair too small but they get the job done and actually feel good, but this device would probably be best in small hands. I'm surprised I like it as much as I do and find myself using it daily. This is my first true retro handheld and I am very satisfied with the value.

Easily the most powerful Anbernic handheld device I have ever owned. I have played playstation 2, as well as Wii, and Switch games on this so far.

It's no Odin 2, but at a third the price of the Odin 2, I am not complaining. The screen is beautiful, and I can screen cast to the TV and I feel like a kid again, playing these games from the couch.

I previously owned the RG351V, which my son claimed. This one, is all mine.

At first, I wasn’t sure if it the consul actually can run that many games, but it’s all true! I really love this console, because is so portable, you can actually put it in your pocket and doesn’t bother you at all. It’s so easy to load games in saves states. I will definitely buy more from Anbernic in the future.

This has been a pleasure to use since getting it in. I love the ergonomics, it fits my medium sized hands perfectly and the sticks and D pad fall naturally under my fingers. This is easily the most comfortable handheld I've ever used. The screen is for lack of a better word perfect. AMOLED is the way to go for crisp visuals and beautiful looks. There's more than enough power to allow for use up to PS2 and even some low lever Switch games. Highly recommended!

need update dpad control especially analog stick

I ended buying a 2nd one of these after my first 2 weeks of my original in case something happened to the first one, but now I have the translucent black and the grey one and ai love them both. Been playing everything from Atari 2600 games up until Playstation 1 and dreamcast games. The only complaints are the microSD that comes with it is garbage, replace it with a SanDisk, and the OS works but lacks any extra features, which currently custom firmware is being developed and some are in alpha and beta stages of development which you can try on maybe another microSD card but I wouldn't use as your main driver just yet.

Bought this device to make my work hrs fly by. I like the RG35XX H it plays a good majority of the retro games I have on it the only cons I have is the OS it comes with it doesn’t come with options to scrape images for the box arts of the games I have installed lack of other options for button settings the power button you’ll have to really hold it for a while before the green light comes on and the OS takes a very long time to load into the dashboard. I installed a new sd card from Sandisk 64gb and the 256gb the OS bricked the sd card had to reformat both sd cards 5 times and reinstalled the OS. So I definitely lost the included games it came with. But not the end of the world when installing the OS on any of my sd card it doesn’t partition it so when the OS is on 256gb it takes all the space and leaves nothing for ROMs or saved data. You’re forced to use 2 sd cards instead of one. The screen protector that came with the device is small it doesn’t cover the full screen so buy a screen protector for miyoo mini plus they’re both the same size and it will cover the full screen.

I love it since I got it I haven’t put it done since,an it came faster than I expected.

Anbernic has done a great job the last few months upgrading their 35XX line of devices. Being one of their most popular handhelds in 2023 they had lacked some basic things such as WiFi and Bluetooth. The one thing that puzzled me however is making the device as powerful as the 35XX Plus without the ability to take advantage of the new processor due to the lack of hardware on the device. The 35XX-H changed all that. Unlike the Plus model we now have the ability to take advantage of emulation on higher end systems due to most of those systems requiring joysticks for many or all of their titles. On top of that some of the advantages of the aforementioned also carried over like RetroAchivments and wireless controller support due to those additions of Bluetooth and WiFi.

The stock firmware could use some work but we have been seeing an effort by Anbernic in this round in order to solve this problem. I can't remember the last time we received so many firmware updates directly from Anbernic and in this case so close to the launch of the devices.
