Absolutely love my RG35XXSP. It's perfect the way it is. GBA was my first handheld ever so this brings back a lot of memories. Also the clicky buttons didn't bother me as much as I thought they would. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to play anything upto PS1.
everything i ever wanted in an retro handheld, i was even commenting everywhere that had this idea that if someone made this it would be the perfect Retro handheld in my opinion, and these guys did it perfectly. no regrets love it! and my favorite Gameboy handheld is back in my hands AND BETTER!
Overall a fantastic device, buttons are a bit clickier than other devices so if that's not your thing I would consider another device but I don't mind it.
I was looking for a more comfortable console to remember the times of the Advanced Sp and I found this beauty
It feels like poor build quality and there are battery heat-sink concerns. The plastic build feels cheap and much less genuine than the original SP. I hope they release a better version in the future, maybe more color options like pastel pink. I wouldn't mind paying more for a better (and safer) build, with more color options. The clam type is the only type I'm interested in.
This is my preferred emulator from Anbernic since I am only interested in the clamshell. I don't regret the purchase, but I wish the quality was better and I wish there were more color options. Hoping for that in the future.
Lack of color options, heat sink concerns and the feel of poor quality keeps it away from 4 and 5 stars respectively. I can only recommend this if you don't mind these concerns.
