A little rushed of a device.

If your an owner of a miyoo mini with onion os、don't expect muOS to be a smooth transition at all yet、especially with the dual card setup。Theme sounds currently break many functions in games。Overall inconsistent compared to mature onion。

Device has great appearance but refinement on buttons and speaker could be improved even after the current version。More hinge pivot point would also be nice bonus。

RG35XXSP great device

It has great build quality, screen is quite good too, button and triggers decent.
Over all its a great device and I absolutely love it. I purchased two RG35XXSPs. I already have few different ANBERNIC devices.

Fantastic device!

This is my second retro handheld I have purchased, and the build quality on this one so far is vastly superior to my other one! I got it as a Christmas gift to myself, and other than a couple of quirks on its second week that appear to have worked themselves out, I am very happy with this.

My brother and I used to constantly play the old GBA SP's when we were young, so this is exactly what I was looking for in a retro handheld. I haven't played a ton of games on it, but the ones I have played run extremely well! I installed Knulli as my OS for my device, and it has made it such a treat to use.

Overall, I would thoroughly recommend any of Anbernic's "XX" devices that suit your fancy as far as looks go (from what I understand they all sport the same spec's tech-wise). As an entry-level device they are priced very well for what they allow you to do with them!

A Blast from the Past

I have seen many of these retro handhelds over the last year, but this is the only one that got me to bite the bullet. The SP holds a special place for me, and the RG35XXSP is a fantastic way to revisit it. It looks and feels great and plays all the classics flawlessly. It's also pretty straightforward to us if you want to mess with the OS or add additional games. I would highly recommend it!

Exactly as expected

I expected a device that plays all my retro games that looks and feels like an authentic retro console, and got just that. Emulation for the supported systems runs at full speed and has no hiccups with the games I tested. The screen is great for the library it supports, the controls are nice and clicky, the UI is mostly simple and easy to navigate, barring a few funny mistranslations in the text.
This thing is a console through and through and does basically nothing but play games, so keep that in mind. There is a built in thing for transferring your files over to it using Wi-Fi, but that's really the only external communication the device will have. I suppose one complaint I could lodge is that while the file transfer is active the device makes bizarre noises, but since that's something you'll use once in a blue moon and the noise seems ultimately harmless (just the antenna being too close to the speaker, I think), it's not bad enough to take a "star" off.
I appreciate all the work that was put into the Retroarch configuration on this thing. Every single console it supports has cute borders and shaders applied to it, adding to the authenticity and physicality of the thing. GBA games, of course, are the absolute best on the device, with GBC and DMG coming in close second.
Of course, this doesn't do anything your PC or phone can't already do, but if you appreciate the physicality of a console and love your retro games, this thing is a steal at its price.
